Signing in
- Go to vernonhq.com and tap Family sign in.
- Type your email and tap Send me a code.
- Open your email. Find the message from Vernon HQ with a 6-digit code.
- Type the code. You're in, and you'll stay signed in for a month.
The code never came
Wait one minute, then look in your Junk or Spam folder. Still nothing? Go back and tap Send me a code again. Make sure it is the same email David added.
It says I don’t have access
You’re signed in with an email David hasn’t added yet. Sign out (tap your initial at the top) and use the email you gave David.
I got signed out
That’s normal once a month or on a new device. Just sign in again with a new code.
Put it on my phone like an app
iPhone or iPad: open vernonhq.com in Safari, tap the Share button (square with an arrow), then Add to Home Screen.
Android: open it in Chrome, tap the three dots, then Add to Home screen.
Computer: bookmark the page.

Something says it’s offline
The home server may be restarting. Try again in a few minutes. Recipes keep working either way.
The apps
Watch movies & TV
Opens Plex. Sign in with your own free Plex account (David sends the invite). On a TV, install the Plex app and sign in with the same account.
Ask for a movie or show
Search for a title and tap Request. You’ll find it in Watch once it’s ready, usually within the hour.
Listen to audiobooks
Tap a book to play. It remembers where you stopped, on every device. First time: sign in with the username David gives you. On Vernon HQ, Audiobooks opens in a panel on the side (or the bottom on a phone) and keeps playing while you move around. Tap ▾ to shrink it.
Read books & comics
Tap a cover to open it, swipe or tap the edges to turn pages. It remembers your page.
Family recipes
The Vernon Family Kitchen. Browse or search, and tap a recipe to cook from it.
